Flora Olomouc has been sitting firmly on my dream-shoot list for what feels like forever. I’ve had my eye on its orangery and greenhouses for years — always imagining what it would be like to create something magical there. This year, that long-held dream finally came true. I had the chance to shoot a full-scale wedding editorial in this absolutely breathtaking setting, and it turned out to be one of those days where everything — the light, the space, the couple — aligned in the best possible way. From the very beginning, the vision for this editorial was clear: to showcase how stunning and unique a wedding at Flora Olomouc can be. It wasn’t just about pretty photos — it was about capturing the kind of beauty that lingers. The kind of softness, warmth, and intimacy that you can actually feel in the images.
Much more than a botanical garden
This Place might be best known for its botanical charm, but it offers so much more than just a lush, green background. Tucked inside the city of Olomouc, this venue feels like a serene escape — a pocket of peace and beauty, wrapped in glass and climbing vines. The orangery and the interconnected greenhouses form a space that’s not only visually stunning but also incredibly versatile.
What makes it particularly perfect for weddings or styled shoots is its size: it’s spacious enough for a small to mid-size celebration, but still feels intimate and personal. Of course, none of this would have come to life without our incredible couple — Natka and Michal. From the moment they stepped into the frame, they brought so much authenticity and warmth to the shoot. Natka wore a dress that was the definition of modern romance — structured yet soft, and absolutely show-stopping in the greenhouse light. She looked phenomenal, truly.
Together, she and Michal were a dream to capture. Their connection is natural and unforced — they’re one of those couples who feel completely at ease in front of the lens. Actually, they weren’t just a duo… their fluffy little dog Jack joined in and honestly, he was the heart of the day. You haven’t seen pure joy until you’ve seen a dog running down the greenhouse path like he owns the place.

As a photographer, light is everything. It’s the one thing that can completely transform a space, a mood, or a moment. And let me tell you — the light at Flora Olomouc is pure magic. From the moment we started shooting, it was like the entire space was designed to catch and shape the light in exactly the right ways. Filtered through soft panes of greenhouse glass, it wraps gently around your subjects, creating that dreamy, glowy, almost painterly effect that’s impossible to fake. It’s consistent throughout the day, which means no fighting harsh midday sun or running against time for golden hour. Here, the light just works — and it makes everything look effortless.
