When Raw Modern Architecture Meets Warm Love

This Bridge is a pair of impressive structures forming part of the Prague Ring Road. It spans the valleys of the Vltava and Svratka rivers, making it one of the longest and busiest bridges in the Czech Republic. The total length of the bridge is just under 2,300 meters. Although the two structures are physically connected to form a single bridge, they are technically separate constructions with different designs and contractors. The bridge opened to traffic in September 2010.
Why This Bridge Caught My Eye
Prague is undeniably enchanting, but those who know me and my work are aware that I love shooting in unique and often unconventional locations. So, it’s no surprise that this concrete marvel immediately captured my attention when I stumbled upon it while searching for interesting spots in and around Prague. My mind instantly went into overdrive, imagining how incredible it would be to shoot here.
Our Journey Through the Years
For this session, I was joined by Berenika and David, my regular clients and dear friends. Their chemistry is always a joy to capture. Berenika’s fiery red hair brought a stunning contrast to the gray tones of Radotínský Bridge, lighting up the entire setting beautifully. The session was simply sensational. I first photographed Bea in 2015 when I traveled to Ostrava for a session. In 2018, I made my way to Hradec Králové. Three years ago, they came to Brno for a shoot, and this year, we met in Prague. Over time, they have become some of my most loyal clients, and our sessions feel like a “Tour de Czechia.” I absolutely love it!
