A Wedding Party Like No Other at Dalešice Brewery
In mid-September, our long-time friends Kačka and Luky said their “I do’s” at the stunning Dalešice Brewery, also known for its role in the classic Czech film Postřižiny. Although the tradition of brewing beer here dates back to the 17th century, it gained widespread fame in 1980 when the film was shot on location. This unique venue not only offers an incredible space for a wedding but also features the Austrian-Hungarian brewing museum. Dalešice Brewery is located in the beautiful region of Vysočina and boasts a gorgeous garden surrounding the entire brewery, adding to its charm. The brewery is truly a fantastic setting for a wedding celebration, and I was beyond excited to be a part of this unforgettable event. Not only was I attending as a photographer, but I was also a guest, enjoying the party with my boys. It was, without a doubt, a proper party hard event.
The Fun and Laughter of the Wedding Preparations
Kačka’s wedding preparations were absolutely fantastic. Full of laughter, jokes, and the spirit of a true girls’ day out. We were also joined by cameraman Lukáš, who, though he slightly disrupted the all-girls vibe, brought tons of fun to the day. Between fits of laughter and waves of emotion, everything felt wonderfully natural and relaxed. And the duck-patterned socks? Too cute! On the other hand, Luky was preparing with his best man. One of the funniest moments during the groom’s preparations was when the cameraman had to tie Luky’s tie, as, like most grooms, he was totally unprepared for this task.
The Wedding Ceremony in the Beautiful Dalešice Brewery Garden
The wedding ceremony took place in the brewery’s beautiful garden, which was the perfect setting for the couple to exchange their vows. The romantic atmosphere was occasionally lightened by the breeze, which playfully made Kačka’s veil fly all over the place, adding a few humorous moments to the ceremony. As soon as the ceremony was over, the real party began! One of the guests even borrowed my wedding ring to take a fun photo with the bride to prank their relatives, haha! Later, during a wedding game, the best man stole my shoe for an amusing task. When a photographer is there for every fun moment, you know it’s going to be a blast.
For the couple’s portraits, I took Kačka and Luky out into the beautiful garden again. And yes, that garden really was something special! Kačka’s wedding dress, chosen from the Tvůj Honeymoon bridal salon, was absolutely stunning. Not only did it fit her perfectly, but the satin material looked amazing in the photos—one of my absolute favorites! It was complemented perfectly by Luky’s suit from Moliére, which, in my opinion, are some of the best wedding suits you can find in the country. If you know a little about quality tailoring, you can easily spot the craftsmanship behind their work. This wedding in Vysočina was truly one-of-a-kind, and I’m so grateful that I got to be a part of it, along with my family.
