A Dreamy Garden Wedding in South Moravia
If you’re looking for a dreamy and intimate wedding venue in South Moravia, Stavení v zahradě is an absolute gem. This fairly new venue is tucked away in a peaceful and spacious setting, offering complete privacy. The scenery is simply breathtaking, and the best part? You rent just the venue itself, giving you the freedom to choose your own vendors and plan every detail exactly as you envision it. I fell in love with this place so much that we even celebrated our kids’ birthdays here the following year—but that’s a story for another day!
Summer Day With Great Atmosphere
On June 3rd, 2023, I had the pleasure of photographing Klárka and Jan’s wedding at this stunning venue. Klárka and I had known each other briefly from high school, though we were in different years. And let’s be honest—there’s something extra special about capturing weddings for people you know! The day kicked off with the usual preparations, and Klárka’s bridal prep was a dream. It was just the three of us—her, the makeup artist, and me—creating a calm, intimate atmosphere, unlike the usual hustle and bustle of a crowded bridal suite. Klárka rarely wears makeup, so the process was full of fun and laughter, and the talented makeup artist, Lucka, and I clicked instantly. After her soft, natural makeup look, she slipped into a breathtaking gown from Bella Bridal Salon. Meanwhile, Jan’s getting-ready moments were all about relaxed vibes. His father helped him with the final touches, and it was such a heartfelt moment to witness.
Ceremony in the Orchard, Dancing & Wedding Games
The ceremony took place in the orchard, beneath the shade of beautiful trees. While the midday sun was quite strong (#sunspotsforever), nothing could dampen the joy of the moment. The ceremony was everything you’d want—emotional, full of love, and with plenty of laughter. The rest of the wedding day unfolded in the barn and courtyard, where guests enjoyed a perfect mix of dancing, games, and celebration. As the evening approached, we stole away to the orchards for some newlywed portraits. The golden hour light was magical, creating the most romantic setting for their love to shine through in the photos.
Ending the Night with Sparklers
To wrap up the night, guests gathered for a sparkling send-off with sparklers. It was the perfect, dreamy end to an unforgettable day. This was one of my last weddings before taking a break for maternity leave, and I cherished every moment of it. Klárka and Jan, thank you for letting me be part of your beautiful day—I’ll always look back on it with joy!
