On a serene Sunday evening, I had the pleasure of heading to Malhostovická Pecka with one of my all-time favorite families. The location greeted us with a stunning display of golden-hour sunlight that bathed everything in warmth and beauty. This wasn’t just any photoshoot—it marked our fourteenth session together. Fourteenth! It’s hard to believe how far we’ve come.
A Journey Through the Years
My relationship with this amazing family goes all the way back to the very beginning of my photography journey. Lucie was one of my first-ever clients, and what started with simple portrait sessions has blossomed into a beautiful tradition of capturing their most precious milestones. Over the years, we’ve done it all: couple portraits, wedding photography, maternity sessions, newborn shoots, and now, family photos. It’s been such a privilege to grow alongside them and to witness their life evolve into something so full of love, joy, and adventure. I can’t express how grateful I am to play a small part in preserving these fleeting moments.
Twins on the Way
This time, we gathered to capture a maternity session as Lucie and her growing family prepare to welcome twins! Yes, twins! With so much excitement and anticipation in the air, the session felt truly special. The glowing evening sun created a perfect atmosphere, complementing the joy and love this family radiates. Of course, as with any outdoor shoot, we had some surprises along the way. While we were lucky enough to enjoy sunny weather for most of the session, we were occasionally greeted by a light drizzle. Instead of dampening the mood, the gentle rain added a touch of magic, creating a dynamic and memorable experience.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned about photographing families, it’s that every session is delightfully unpredictable. This one was no exception!
