Have you ever heard of Kuličkário in Prague? If not, let me introduce you to possibly the most epic place in the city. Think ball pits, color explosions, and pure childhood joy—but turned into a space that adults secretly (or not-so-secretly) love just as much. So naturally, while bouncing around one of these ball-filled rooms, a wild idea hit me… What if I did a wedding styled shoot here?

Alternative weddings deserve alternative spaces

Let’s face it—weddings these days don’t have to stick to the old-school script. And honestly? That’s where the magic happens. Whether you’re planning an intimate micro wedding or throwing a huge party with all your favorite humans, you should feel free to create a day that looks and feels exactly like you.

That’s what this styled shoot was all about. I wanted to show that wedding photography doesn’t have to mean castles or vintage gardens (although I love those too!). It can mean something completely different, completely playful, and 100% yours.

When you have balls (a thousands, haha)

To did it your way! Now, back to Kuličkário. It’s basically a wonderland for the inner child in all of us. Imagine multiple rooms with different themes, giant ball pits, inflatable fun zones, and pops of color everywhere you look. Not your typical wedding venue, right? But here’s the thing — who says weddings have to be typical?

No limits. No rules. Just imagination.

Styled shoots are an amazing way to push the envelope, dream bigger, and inspire couples to get a little bold with their own wedding planning. I believe seeing something wild and wonderful can be the lightbulb moment someone needs to realize: Wait… that’s possible? And yes. It absolutely is. This shoot was proof that alternative weddings can be just as beautiful, moving, and memorable as any “classic” setup. Maybe even more. Because when you lean into joy and fun and don’t take yourself too seriously, the result is something truly unforgettable.

A styled shoot that made it to the cover of a magazine

It is true. This styled shoot didn’t just stay in the Czech Republic. It made its way all the way to the international wedding magazine Uncon Bridal Con — The Mag. And not just as a little feature. Nope. One of the photos from this session landed on the actual cover of the magazine! Even typing that out still doesn’t feel real. I’m just a wedding photographer from the Czech Republic who wanted to have a little fun with a styled shoot and inspire people. And somehow, it turned into this.

Honestly? I’m so grateful I could cry. I never imagined my work would end up somewhere like that. So if you’re reading this and you’re dreaming big — please don’t stop. Whether you’re a couple planning something offbeat, or a creative thinking of doing something “too weird,” do it. You never know what could happen.
