Creative Couples Photoshoot at the Lookout Tower

Nestled near the village of Křepice, atop the Čertoraj hill, lies an extraordinary piece of architecture—the Memorial to the Bratislava-Brno Operation. Though its construction began in the mid-1980s, it wasn’t until 2023 that the ruins were transformed into a truly unique lookout tower. The memorial commemorates the liberation of Brno during the Bratislava-Brno Operation at the close of World War II. I stumbled across this fascinating spot, as usual, while researching intriguing day trips around South Moravia. Being part of a family that loves to travel, this kind of discovery probably isn’t surprising. But what truly captivated me about this location were the iconic red stairs. They instantly sparked my imagination, and I couldn’t help but envision a photo shoot here. Unusual, picturesque locations like this? They’re absolutely my thing.

A Perfect Setting for a Couple’s Photoshoot

When Nikča and I were planning her couple’s photo session with Kryštof, I proposed this spot as one of the potential locations. Secretly, I was hoping they’d choose it. And guess what? They did! So, in February, I found myself back at this remarkable site. I must say, choosing this location for Niky and Kryštof was absolutely the right call. The atmosphere of the place resonated with their personalities perfectly, making the entire session nothing short of magical. This wasn’t the first time we worked together, which made the shoot feel relaxed, fun, and filled with laughter. We even embraced a bit of cheeky humor—because that’s just how we do it, haha! Yet, beneath all the fun was something profoundly beautiful: the pure love these two share.  Their chemistry is undeniable, and their energy is infectious. Photographing them in such a stunning location was an absolute joy. I’m so grateful to document moments like these and to capture the story of their lives.
