Founded years ago by my dear friend Hanka, a passionate lover of fashion and beauty, this small but exclusive salon has been providing brides with the most stunning wedding gowns ever since.

The Story Behind This Bridal Salon

Hanka’s journey into the wedding industry is truly inspiring. A few years ago, I had the honor of photographing a wedding at the famous Dalešice Brewery—the setting for the film Postřižiny—where our friends tied the knot. Kačka, the bride, wore a gown from Tvůj Honeymoon, and it was absolutely breathtaking. Shortly after that, Hanka reached out to me, asking if I would be interested in photographing an editorial for her salon.

Of course, we clicked right away, and since then, we’ve been working together, supporting each other every step of the way. Hanka is an incredible, determined woman who has set out to fulfill her dreams. She’s also a true girl boss. As a mom and entrepreneur, I know firsthand how challenging it can be to juggle both, but she does it with grace and passion.

Tvůj Honeymoon is no ordinary wedding salon. It’s a place where you’ll be greeted by a warm, friendly atmosphere and surrounded by an impressive collection of wedding dresses. What makes this salon stand out is its inclusive approach: it doesn’t just focus on “standard” sizes. In fact, you can find gowns in sizes 50+ as well, something that remains a significant issue in the Czech Republic. This is such a refreshing change, allowing every bride to feel beautiful and confident in the dress of her dreams.

At Tvůj Honeymoon, you can either rent a wedding dress or have it custom-made to fit your body perfectly. During your visit, you’ll be guided through the process by the lovely, cheerful little assistant—Hanka’s adorable little helper—who will offer advice on every little detail, ensuring you feel completely at ease. This year, Hanka took it a step further by launching her very own collection of wedding shoes. Now, alongside the stunning gowns, brides-to-be can also choose from a variety of shoes in different shapes, colors, and heel heights, making it even easier to find the perfect match for their wedding look.

The Grand Opening

As Tvůj Honeymoon continued to thrive, the salon’s original space started to feel a bit cramped. So, Hanka decided it was time to take her “baby” to the next level. She moved her salon to a bigger, more elegant space, and to celebrate, she held an extravagant grand opening event one chilly November Saturday. I was invited as a guest, of course, and naturally, I couldn’t resist bringing my camera along—because honestly, I never go anywhere without it, haha. The opening was absolutely amazing, and I’m not exaggerating when I say it was an event to remember. A team of incredibly talented professionals came together to make the event a complete success. There was no doubt it would be anything but spectacular.

The Highlight of the Evening: A Fashion Show with a Twist

The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the stunning fashion show. The beautiful models strutted down the runway, showcasing some of the most exquisite wedding dresses from Tvůj Honeymoon. But just when we thought the night couldn’t get any better, the real fun began. In a brilliant twist, the models gathered their skirts and rushed out into the streets, holding signs that read, “Looking for a husband.” The crowd erupted in laughter and cheers as they ran through the streets in their wedding gowns.

It was pure joy—hilarious and unforgettable. I am so grateful to have been part of such a special evening, and I’m beyond proud of everything Hanka has accomplished. Her dedication, creativity, and hard work have transformed Tvůj Honeymoon into a place where every bride can find her perfect gown and feel truly celebrated.

What Hanka has built with Tvůj Honeymoon is nothing short of extraordinary. Watching her grow from the woman I first met to the incredible entrepreneur she is today has been such a privilege.
