Small spring wedding at Vysočina
This small family wedding in the heart of Vysočina was everything you could hope for — peaceful, full of laughter, and absolutely beautiful. There’s something truly magical about starting a new wedding season with a relaxed, intimate ceremony — and that’s exactly how my 2023 began. This wedding was truly unique, unforgettable, and that’s also because I’m still in touch with my couple (like most of my people), we’ve had a few more photoshoots, and we just have fun. And that’s what it’s all about for me!

Calm and joyful morning at home
The day started slowly, in the best possible way. I arrived at the couple’s home early in the morning, where only the bride, the groom, the makeup artist, and their very curious cat were getting ready. Instead of the usual wedding-day rush, there was a lovely sense of calm in the air. Everyone was smiling, chatting, and taking their time.
Between makeup touches and buttoning up shirts, we shared tons of laughs, which made the whole morning feel incredibly special and personal. The preparations culminated in the reading of the wedding vows, which was an absolutely surreal and extremely moving moment, and I still can’t understand that I have the best job in the world and can be a part of such moments.
Beautiful church in the middle of nowhere
Once everyone was ready, we made our way to one of the most charming churches I’ve ever seen. Tucked away in nature, almost hidden from the world, this place felt like a secret gem — the perfect backdrop for a romantic ceremony. The ceremony itself was perfect. Full of an amazing atmosphere. Tears of emotion. And love. Weddings in a church simply have a special magic and it was no different here.
Time to celebrate: Reception and party
After the ceremony, the celebration continued with a relaxed reception surrounded by family and close friends. The food was delicious, the vibes were great, and as the sun began to set, the real party kicked off. By the evening, everyone was dancing, laughing, and enjoying the moment — just the way a wedding party should be. It was the kind of night that felt like it could go on forever, and no one seemed to mind. And here’s the thing — if you want a good wedding party, you need a good DJ. Someone who can get people going and get them dancing. And luckily there was a great DJ here, so the party was in full swing!
Newlyweds’ walk through the city combined with a photoshoot
During the wedding reception, I stole the newlyweds away for a quick photo session. We headed to the garden of a nearby castle, which turned out to be a dream location. Every corner was picturesque — nature, old paths, and the highlight of our photoshoot — a huge greenhouse. To wrap up, we took a peaceful walk through the town where they live — and where the wedding took place. Capturing them in their everyday surroundings, now as a married couple, was the perfect ending to a beautiful day.
Looking back, this wedding reminded me why I love capturing these moments so much. It wasn’t about extravagant decor or big crowds — it was about love, laughter, and the people who matter most. From start to finish, this day had heart. And honestly? I couldn’t have imagined a better way to start my season. I’m grateful. Incredibly. For being able to do what I love. It is truly a gift and an incredible blessing and I appreciate everyone who comes to me to capture memories and maybe even returns. THANKS!
